UN high commissioner slams Israeli statements on forcible transfer of Palestinians
Volker Turk, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, says he is “very disturbed” by the statements made by Israeli ministers on transferring the population of Gaza to other countries.

He also pointed out that international law bans “the forcible transfer of protected persons within or deportation from occupied territory”.
