The Dutch ministry of foreign affairs has called the recent comments made by far-right Israeli ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir concerning Palestinian displacement from Gaza “irresponsible”.

The ministry, in a post on X, said the remarks did not “fit a future two-state solution, with a viable Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel”.
