The Lebanese group says it carried out nine attacks targeting Israeli positions across the Lebanese border, including with rocket launches, Al Jazeera reports.

Hezbollah has been regularly targeting Israeli military installations since the outbreak of fighting in Gaza, but today’s attacks mark an increase in the Lebanese group’s military activity following the killing of a senior Hamas official in south Beirut.

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah is set to deliver a televised address shortly, the report added.
