[Meanwhile, as reported by news agencies in Dacca,] Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has asked United Nations Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim to secure the speedy repatriation of Bengalis stranded in Pakistan. In a letter to Dr Waldheim … Sheikh Mujib expressed grave concern over the “rapidly deteriorating condition of my countrymen stranded in Pakistan”… .
