LAHORE: A labourer died and another injured when a huge mass of earth fell on them during digging ground in Manawan area here on Monday.
A police official said three labourers were digging ground along a road at Momin Pura when suddenly a large quantity of earth fell on them. As a result, two of them got buried under it.
Locals called the Rescue 1122 teams which retrieved the labourers from the ditch and shifted them to hospital, where one of them, identified as Rashid, died, while the other was stated to be stable.
The police were looking into the incident.
