ABBOTTABAD: A jeep fell into a deep ravine near Biran Gali area here on Thursday killing two people riding it, including the driver.
According to Galiyat SDPO Jamilur Rehman, the accident left seven people injured and four of them were shifted to the Ayub Teaching Hospital due to critical condition.
The accident occurred as the driver lost control of the jeep while negotiating a turn on the dilapidated road.
The jeep was bound for Abbottabad from Kutla village in Biran Gali union council.
The residents, police and Rescue 1122 workers shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, whose doctors gave first aid to the injured and referred the critically injured to the Ayub Teaching Complex.
Meanwhile, the operator of an excavating machine died after being buried alive under a heavy rock in a phosphate mine in Guldaniya village of Mangal area here.
Abrar was later buried in his hometown.
