Former SSP leader released

KHAIRPUR, Oct 21: Allama Ali Sher Hyderi, former chief patron of the banned Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan, was released from the Khairpur central jail on Friday evening. Allama Ali Sher Hyderi has been in detention for three months and the Sindh government withdrew his detention orders.

When he arrived at Madressah Jamia Hyderia Luqman, students of the Madressah welcomed him.

MUSHAIRA: A Sachal Adabi Mehfil-i-Mushaira was held here at the Sachal Academy on Thursday night.

Renowned poet Inayat Baloch presided over the gathering.

Around sixty poets participated in Mushaira and read their poetry.

They included Mir Abdul Rasool Mir, Ahmed Khan Madhosh, Murshid Gilani, Nizam Zahir, Mumtaz Tabassum, Amar Iqbal, Nazeer Lakhai, Mehmood Soomro, Manzoor Ujjan, Bashir Mangi, Mir Sobdar Saeed and Janib Naz Ghori.

Earlier, a group of writers and poets led by Qurban Pirzado and Shah Mohammad Lohrani visited shrine of Sachal Sarmast at Daraza and laid floral wreaths on the shrine.
