PTI's Ahmad Khan Bachar has been awarded the PP-87 (Mianwali) seat in a walkover. There will, therefore, be no polling for the seat on October 14.

Four people had filed nomination papers for the seat, one each from the PTI, PPP, PML-N and an independent candidate.

The PML-N candidate decided to boycott the election, while the remaining (apart from Bachar) withdrew from the race.
