Shama and Rehan were shifted to local hospital in critical condition. The driver of the tractor-trolley fled and the police registered a case against him.

KILLED: The body of a landlord’s kidnapped son was found in the fields in Begowala village of Sambrial tehsil.

According to the details, some unidentified suspects had kidnapped Muhammad Riaz’s four-year-old son, Muhammad Ahmed, for ransom on Friday. The kidnappers demanded Rs500,000 from the family on phone calls from different numbers for the release of the child. The family agreed to pay Rs300,000 but reported the matter to police. On Saturday, Ahmed’s body was found in the fields.
