The victim was also a property dealer, he added. Senior politicians of the PTI also met the senior police officer of capital before on Friday noon and sought help for the early and safe recovery of the victim, but he was found murdered in the afternoon.

The body was recovered from a wooded area at Banigala when some passersby spotted it. The police shifted the body to hospital for pending identification and legal process.

The deceased had left his residence at Pakistan Town on Feb 21 at around 4pm in a car but did not return, the police quoted the cousin as saying.
