RAWALPINDI: US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard G. Olson called on Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters on Monday.

During the meeting overall regional security situation with particular reference to situation in Afghanistan came under discussion, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.

This was Ambassador Olson’s first visit to GHQ after assumption of the office of US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan last month.
