SUKKUR: Two boys, about 10 years of age, were subjected to sexual assault by a gang who also filmed them during the ordeal in Ali Mahar village in Ghotki, it emerged on Wednesday.

Ghulam Sarwar Mahar, maternal grandfather of one of the victims, lodged a case against suspects identified as Ayub Mahar, Asghar Mahar, Hameed Mahar, Hafeez Mahar, Ali Muhammad Mahar and Muhammad Ali Mahar at the A-Section police station on Wednesday, accusing them of sexually assaulting his grandson and making the video.

The same gang had earlier sexually assaulted and filmed another 10-year-old boy of Ali Mahar village, but the victim’s relatives did not lodge any case against the perpetrators.

The suspects have gone underground following the registration of the FIR and police have failed to arrest them.
