Aabpara crossing

Published November 24, 2010

ABOUT a year back the Islamabad traffic police decided to close the /chowk and diverted all traffic coming from the G-6/4 side to a congested U-turn in front of the TCS office/Express channel.

During peak hours, it becomes the most bothersome point for all motorists as there is a lot of public and private traffic.

Appreciate the fact that traffic coming from three directions all converge on one single U-turn. Traffic coming from Sunday Bazaar side, traffic coming from the sports complex side and traffic coming from Serena side all have to use the TCS office U-turn to go to the other side of the road.

I request the SSP of traffic/IG of Islamabad/chairman of the Capital Development Authority to kindly open the and have the traffic signals functional again.

This will save a lot of time, hassle and fuel cost of the motorists.
