Car lifters held

ISLAMABAD, March 25: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police and the Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) on Monday arrested four car lifters and a gang of robbers wanted in several crime cases, a police spokesman said.

According to the details, ACLC police team caught three Afghan nationals red-handed in the area of Tarnol police station.

The police further arrested the car receiver and recovered a stolen car, a jammer and three pistols from them. During initial investigations, the accused confessed to their involvement in car lifting cases in various areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. —A Reporter
