NEW YORK, March 13: Imam Feisal, head of the Cordoba Initiative in New York, decried the burning of the houses of “our Christian brothers and sisters” in Pakistan and called on the government of Pakistan to provide every needed assistance to the affected families.

“Such violence can never be justified, and the targeting of innocents is a tragedy for all of Pakistan,” he said.

“As Muslims we must remember that even if we perceive someone to be hostile towards us or our faith, the Quran is very clear that violence is never an acceptable response.
