KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) here on Sunday staged a protest demonstration in front of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) to condemn the Joseph Colony incident in Lahore.

MQM central leader Dr Farooq Sattar termed the incident as a bid to defame Pakistan. He said that these shameful activities are being conducted to weaken Pakistan.

Sattar said his party has always supported the rights of minorities and will continue to do so.

MQM leader Raza Haroon and others also spoke on the occasion. A large number of people also participated in the demonstration.
