LAHORE, March 8: The City Traffic Police have completed all arrangements for facilitating participants and keeping the flow of traffic smooth during the family fun race and the marathon to be held on Sunday (tomorrow).

The CTO said on Friday that 398 wardens, 15 inspectors and seven DSPs would perform duty under the supervision of two SPs.

“No motorcycle or private vehicle will be allowed on the road during the event while temporary parking stands have been set up for vehicles of participants,” he added.

According to the schedule, the family fun race will start from Siddique Trade Centre to the Liberty Roundabout. The marathon will start from Qadhafi Stadium and terminate at the Gate No 3 of the Punjab Stadium after passing through Kalma Chowk, Jail Road and FC Bridge. — Staff Reporter
