QUETTA, Feb 7: Balochistan National Party-Mengal’s acting president Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldani has said that elections must be held in a free, fair and impartial manner, adding any delay in the polls will not augur well for the country.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said BNP-M did not believe in undemocratic practices but observed that governor’s rule had been imposed in the province because of corruption and wrong policies of the former government.

He said BNP-M believed in the democratic process and would take part in elections.

Mr Jamaldani said his party was not against the creation of Seraiki province but would not accept inclusion of Dera Ghazi Khan district in the Seraiki or South Punjab province.
