LAHORE: One person was killed and five others injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore, DawnNews reported.
According to the police, the roof of a dilapidated house collapsed during the rain in the provincial capital, burying six people under the rubble.
Rescue 1122 and other relief teams rushed to the site immediately upon being informed. The injured were brought out of the debris and shifted to the city’s Mayo and Jinnah hospitals.
One person died while receiving treatment at one of the hospitals, while the other injured are said to be in critical conditions.
