LAHORE, Jan 17: President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif on Thursday and expressed condolences over the death of his younger brother Abbas Sharif.
According to sources in the PML-N, Mr Zardari did not discuss political situation with Mr Sharif on the occasion.
However, analysts said the brief conversation could lead to a rapprochement between the People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League.
