KARACHI, Jan 16: The deputy inspector general of the traffic police of Karachi has announced the route of the Chup Tazia procession and asked the owners of vehicles intending to participate in the procession to obtain entry passes.

On the 8th of Rabi-ul-Awwal (21 Jan) the Chup Tazia procession will be taken out from Nishtar Park after Fajr and it will end at Hussainia Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar after Zohrain prayers.

A second procession will be taken out from Qasr-i-Musayyab Rizvia Society and it will end at Shah-i-Najaf Imambargah on Martin Road.

The stickers for government vehicles, ambulances and media vehicles will be issued between Jan 19 and Jan 20 from the office of the DIGP/traffic (traffic security branch) police headquarters Garden on Aga Khan III Road.

The vehicles of scouts, welfare organisations, Sabils, Nazar and Niaz distributing persons are to submit their application forms along with  relevant documents of the owner/organisation at the Qasr-i-Musayyab Rizvia Society until Jan 18.—PPI
