LONDON, Jan 5: Seven-time world champion Nicol David reached the last four of the World Series Squash Finals on Friday with an 11-4, 11-8 win over Natalie Grinham of the Netherlands.

The Malaysian star’s round-robin stage win came just a day after she had suffered a shock 12-10, 11-9 loss to England’s Laura Massaro, the woman she defeated in the World Open final last month.

World number one Nicol will face France’s Camille Serme in Saturday’s semi-finals at London’s Queen’s Club.

Serme made the last four despite losing 11-8, 11-6 to world number two Raneem El Weleily on Friday.
