LAHORE, Dec 26: A ticklish card of six races will be gone through when the Lahore Gymkhana midweek races get under way at the Racecourse here on Thursday.

Midweek races are being resumed after a long period.

According to an official announcement, the races will now be held every fortnight on Wednesdays.

The winter meetings will as usual be held on Sundays.

Thursday’s card has two races in which eleven runners will be competing while the other four races have lesser number of runners.

All the events will be contested over the sprinting distance of 900 metres each.

The first race will be held at 12.30pm.
