QUETTA, Nov 28: Lawyers on Wednesday boycotted courts in the city and district headquarters of the province in response to a call of the Balochistan Bar Association to protest armed attack on an advocate in Khuzdar on Tuesday night.

(According to APP, advocate Qazi Jameel was standing outside his house in Zaidabad area of Khuzdar when unidentified assailants opened fire at him, leaving him injured.)

Lawyers kept away from court proceedings and hoisted black flag atop the bar.

The BBA spokesman called upon the government and police to arrest those involved in the attack.
