KARACHI: Former chief of Bahria Town Malik Riaz on Tuesday expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the Shoaib Suddle commission, saying he did not expect justice from it, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives after submitting a written statement, the business tycoon said that he did not accept the commission.

Riaz said that the commission had not yet asked him to submit his passport. He said that if the commission has asked him to do so, he would have submitted it.

Moreover, he said that former generals were investigated by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Zahid Bukhari, Malik Riaz’s lawyer, said that he had expressed concerns to the commission about not getting justice. He added that the commission’s duration ended on Oct 5 and therefore, the commission had no legal status any longer.

Bukhari added that commission had done work that it was not authorised for. No commission could be an autonomous organisation or court, he said.

He also said that the commission’s members were relatives of Arsalan Iftikhar’s family; therefore there were no expectations of justice from the commission.

Reports of investigators is not the final judgement of superior court and injustice done to accused can be debated in the court of law to prove it malafide.Asking for an investigator of choice is in itself acceptance of guilt or it may be a pressure tactics to unnerve the officer and get a favorable report...

If Riaz Malik can not be satisfied with Shoiab Suddle commission report then how the later can provide justice to other aggrieved persons approaching his department.Yes Malik Sahib is not used to getting justice of his own choice and he is worried that he can not buy Shoaib Suddle,a man of great character and reputation ,perhaps nominated buy the Govt by mistake.

He should ask for two most respected and honest people to hear his case and do justice and those two are Noora Sharif and Zardari. These two are Malik Riaz's biggest supporters and only they can give him justice he wants. If he needs additional two then Aslam Beg and Kayani can help
