KARACHI, Nov 10: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) on Saturday directed its seven zones to nominate top performers of the 2012 Inter-district senior tournament for the trials on Tuesday at 8.30am at the National Stadium.

The purpose of this exercise is to select two Karachi teams for the National Twenty20 Cup and the Quaid-i-Trophy National Cricket Championship.Former Pakistan players Azhar Khan and Asif Baloch along with ex-Test skipper Rashid Latif will form the selection committee.

Meanwhile, five zones — I, II, IV, VI and VII — have already announced the list of players to appear at the above-mentioned trials. The remaining two zones — III and V — have been advised to send in their nominated players at the prescribed date, time and venue.

ZONE-I: Tariq Haroon, Haris Ayaz, Farrukh Rizvi, Ahmed Iqbal, Fahim Ahmed, Mirza Asad Baig, Khalid Mahmood, Hanif Malik, Nabeel Khalid, Yasir Hussain, Behram Khan.

ZONE-II: Saeed bin Nasir, Rashid Ali, Jahangir Shah, Abdul Jabbar Khan, Saeed Mutabir Adeel Malik, Shah Ali Zafar, Azhar Shah, Shiraz Ali, Naveed Khan, Rajesh Ramesh, Abdul Latif Junejo, Ammar Hassan, Shahzaib Nazar, Hasan Javed.

ZONE- IV: Atif Maqbool, Nadeem Shad, Suhaib Shakeel, Mohammad Bilal, Farman Shah, Zohaib Shera, Yasir Mushtaq, Hasan Ali, Junaid Jamshed, Suhaib Khan, Ashraf Ali, Haris Ali Khan, Kaleemullah.

ZONE-VI: Adnan Kaleem, Javed Mansoor, Akbar-ur-Rehman, Fazal Subhan, Misbah Khan, Sohail Khan, Faraz Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Hasan, Tabish Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Rizwan Khan, Babar Agha, Waqar Ali Syed, Abdullah Shah, Saad Ali, Ahsan Ali, Fawad Khan, Mir Hamza.

ZONE-VII: Raza-ul-Hasan, Gul Khan, Rehan Sajid, Faraz Patel, Mansoor Ahmed, Ali Mudassar, Zakir Malik, Shahid Ayub, Junaid Naeem, Owais Ahmed Rehmani, Shahroz Sana-ul-Haq.—Sports Reporter
