DAGGAR, Nov 9: Qaumi Watan Party chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao went to the house of slain party leader Fateh Khan in Sultanwas here on Friday.

Aftab Sherpao, who was accompanied by Sikandar Khan Sherpao and district office-bearers of the party, expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and offered Fateha for the departed soul. Mr Sherpao also offered Fateha for other victims of the suicide bombing.

Fateh Khan, who headed a local lashkar against the militants, was killed in a suicide attack at Daggar, headquarters of Buner district, earlier this week.

Aftab Sherpao said the efforts of Fateh Khan for restoration of peace in the region would be remembered for a long time.
