QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has convened a special cabinet meeting on Oct 30 to discuss the possible filing of a review plea in the Supreme Court about its interim order on the law and order situation in the province.

A statement issued here on Friday said the meeting would be aimed at taking the members into confidence on the issue.

The statement said the chief minister had taken notice of non-implementation of a Supreme Court order by CNG stations in the city.

Mr Raisani directed the chief secretary to take action against those CNG stations that were hesitant to comply with the order of the apex court.

He said the government would implement the orders of the court about the reduction of prices of CNG in letter and spirit. The statement said the chief minister directed home secretary that effective security measures should be arranged during the prayers of Eidul Azha.

The chief minister said that Rs1 billion should be allocated from the Public Sector Development Programme for setting up modern trauma centres in the Sandeman provincial hospital, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Sheikh Zayed Hospital and Shaheed Benazir hospital in order to provide facility to patients in the government hospitals.
