TIMERGARA, Oct 20: Minister of State Malik Azmat Khan has ruled out electoral alliance with Awami National Party in Lower Dir district.

Addressing a workers’ convention here on Saturday, he asked party activists to begin preparation for next general elections. He said that PPP workers were complaining against the behaviour of ANP leaders.

The state minister said that PPP would never make alliance with ANP in Malakand division. He said that ANP government in the province had ignored PPP workers in posting, transfers and development projects.

He said that more than 72,000 families in Lower Dir were benefited from BISP programme.

Mr Khan said that Rs15 million would be spent on development schemes in Lajbok, Balambat, Khungay and Timergara union councils while Rs50 million in the rest of the union councils of the district. —Correspondent
