KARACHI, Oct 16: The annual Pakistan maritime exercises, Seaspark-12, concluded with a debrief session held at the PNS Jauhar on Tuesday.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila along with other commanders attended the session.

Expressing his satisfaction over the successful conduct of the exercise, Admiral Sandila said complex geo-strategic situation in the region warranted a high state of preparedness. He said the exercise was well utilised to validate the PN concept of security, counter-piracy plan, utilisation of ships, submarines, aircraft and other components, employment of PAF aircraft in support of maritime operations and integration of Z9-EC helicopters to the PN fleet. The deputy chief of the naval staff (operations) later presented the analysis of tactical actions.—PPI
