ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry for Finance approved on Sunday the price change of POL to adjust for global oil price changes, DawnNews reported.

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 2.09 per litre and now stands at Rs 103.40 per litre.

The price of light speed diesel was increased by Rs 1.23 per litre, price of high speed diesel was hiked by by Rs 3.1 per litre and the price of kerosene oil has been increased by Rs 1.92 per litre.

The per kilo price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been decreased by Rs 1.92 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar and Balochistan (Zone-I) whereas the prices for Punjab and Sindh (Zone-II) has been reduced by Rs1.74 per kilo.

All the price changes would be effective from midnight Sunday.
