ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday announced a relief package of two billion rupees for flood affected areas of Sindh and directed to dispatch 710 million rupees immediately, DawnNews reported.

Prime Minister Ashraf announced the relief package during his visit to the flood-ridden areas in Sindh.

The prime minister directed the officials to release funds of 200 million each for Kashmor and Jacobabad, 100 million each for Sukkar and Mirpur khas and 70 million for Ghotki.

The prime minister also directed the officials to prepare the relief package for the flood affectees of South Punjab and Balochistan and provide them 25000 camps for their make-shift shelter arrangement.
