RAWALPINDI, Sept 14: In surprise raids, the law enforcement agencies arrested three suspected militants and seized ‘hatred material’ and photographs of attacks on government establishments, it has been learnt.

The source said the three suspects were arrested from different parts of Rawalpindi during raids. Besides, pamphlets, some books and CDs containing photographs of training camps, attacks on security forces and photographs of martyred soldiers were also recovered from them.

One of the suspected militants identified as Ghaffar alias Fari had been involved in operating training camps of banned outfits in Balochistan and also had been one of the members of a group involved in attacking Nato supplies, while two other suspects identified as Kamran Khan and Usman Khan had links in North Waziristan.

The source said the mastermind of the terror group had been operating from Wazirstan and Miram Shah.

The arrested suspects are expected to be booked under the anti-terrorism act, the source said.
