LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday warned the public not to repeat their past mistakes in the upcoming elections, DawnNews reported.

While speaking on the occasion of a scholarship program for deserving students in Lahore, Iqbal warned that if the public repeated the same mistakes from the 2008 elections in the upcoming elections, then it could put the country at risk of breaking up.

The deputy secretary general of the PML-N said that new political entrants would be unable to cope with bringing a change in the country.

Moreover, he added that in order for the nation to prosper, being a nuclear power was not enough rather it depended on a strong economy.
