KARACHI, Sept 5: A superb century by Pakistan U-19 batsman Saad Ali and an equally fine knock from Syed Abdullah Shah guided Alamgir Gymkhana into the final of the Umpire Dawood Khan Memorial cricket tournament, organised by KCCA Zone-VI, here on Tuesday.

Saad smashed 141 with the help of 16 boundaries and four sixes and Abdullah struck 94 with five fours and three sixes as Alamgir Gymkhana defeated Orangi Star CC by 190 runs in the first semi-final at the Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana Ground.

After Alamgir Gymkhana posted 349-6 in their 40 overs, Orangi Star CC were all out for 159 in 25.5 overs with Atif Khan top-scoring with 56.

Alamgir Gymkhana now will play winners of the second semi-final Pakistan CC and Northern Gymkhana in the final.
