ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the government is going to constitute inter-faith council to create harmony in the country.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan, he said the council will be comprised on Ulema of all religious sections and its chairmanship will be rotated among them after every three months.

He further added an Inter-faith conference at national level is also being held on August 30, to discuss as to how sectarian harmony can be promoted in the country.

He appealed to people of the country to get united to foil nefarious designs of enemy who want to create instability in the country through subversive incidents.

Replying to a question about law and order situation in Balochistan, Interior Minister Rehman Malik    offered Baloch nationalist leaders to come to dialogue with the government for addressing the issues of Baloch people.

He also asked self-exiled Baloch nationalist leaders to return to Balochistan for helping Baloch people to resolve their issues while remaining among them.

He said they can make Pakistan especially Balochistan the most prosperous area of the world with unity, peace and stability.
