KARACHI: At least four people were killed and four others sustained injuries in a road accident that took place near Nooriabad, some 94 kilometres from Karachi, private television channels reported on Wednesday.

According to television reports, the accident occurred when two vehicles collided near Nooriabad on the Super Highway.

As a result, four persons, including women and children, died on the spot.

Rescue and police teams rushed to the site and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
