LAHORE, Aug 10: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Wattoo has asked Chief Minister to pay attention to matters of Punjab instead of targeting President Zardari.

Talking to reporters at an Iftar dinner hosted by Munir Ahmed Khan here on Friday, Mr Wattoo said the law and order situation was worse in Punjab and billions of rupees had been spent on one road. “The people are deprived of health and education facilities in the province but Shahbaz Sharif was not paying any attention to these sectors,” he said.

The minister said the parties demanding for early election should wait for the due time. He said owing to the PPP’s politics no other party was ready to invite undemocratic forces to topple the elected government.

PPP leaders Sumsam Bokhari, Samina Ghurki, Aslam Gill and Omar Sharif Bokhari were also present.
