ISLAMABAD, Aug 3: The newly appointed Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Ali Arshad Hakeem on Friday reshuffled another 23 senior tax officers of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) apparently to bring in a new team at important positions to chase the revenue collection target for fiscal year 2012-13.

The new chairman was appointed from the private sector on contract basis for a period of two years on July 12.

A notification was issued here to transfer Muhammad Anees and posted him as member, (Enforcement) Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Ansar Javed, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore; Shahid Nasim, Director General, (Special Initiative) FBR; Ms. Yasmin Saud, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Karachi; Muhammad Anwar Goraya, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Multan; Mustafa Ashraf, Member, (Taxpayers Audit) FBR; Mohammad Ashraf Khan, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Lahore; Khawaja Tanveer Ahmad, Director General, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation (Inland Revenue), Karachi; Muhammad Raza Baqir, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office II, Lahore; Abdul Rehman Dogar, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Sialkot.

Two senior IRS officers Ms Fiza Muzaffar and Khalid Mahmood-II were repatriated to FBR and currently await posting.
