ISLAMABAD: Former Chief of Bahria Town Malik Riaz showed his dissatisfaction on the investigations of Joint investigation team (JIT) in the Arsalan Iftikhar case, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives after appearing before the JIT, Riaz said that he has submitted some of the evidence to the investigation team and has sought permission to submit the remaining evidence within a week.

He said that he was not satisfied with the team’s investigations.

Riaz complained to the Chief Justice that although he was granted a bail by the Lahore High Court in the land-fraud case but still the anti-corruption court declared him a proclaimed offender.

He said that he and his family were not running away from the courts.

Earlier today, anti-corruption court of Rawalpindi declared Riaz as a ‘proclaimed offender’ in the land-fraud case. The court issued orders to the authorities to present Riaz and other defendants of the case before the court by Sep 3.
