RAWALPINDI, July 11: Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Wednesday showcased the artwork of its students.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Najma Hameed inaugurated the exhibition while the RAC resident director, Waqar Ahmed, was also present on the occasion.

The stalls, featuring gem and fabric Jewelry attracted most visitors on the first day.

The students of interior decoration, hand made jewelry, flower making, candle making and fashion designing class displayed their work at the exhibition.

After inauguration ceremony, Senator Najma Hameed said that Rawalpindi Arts Council has imparted training to its students in such a practical way that they were able to contribute in home industry and can earn their livelihood honestly and respectfully.

She said that the students have full command over their work.

The RAC resident director said that the council always stressed on practical work.

Vessels, frames, embossed file work, jute work, wall hanging, flowers arrangements, partition screen work, stainless glass, lamps, purses, jewelry boxes, candles, and dresses of all kinds were put on display at the exhibition which will conclude on July 12.
