Almost a decade ago, there was much hype regarding black goggles, black suite, Agent J and Agent K? You are right, that was due to the popularity of the movie Men in Black.

So kids, Will Smith, as agent J, and Tommy Lee Jones, as agent K, are back again in Men in Black 3. The series, which is based on the Milabu/Marvel comic book, is always of interest to many as there are aliens, incredible and funny-looking arsenal, the witty and funny dialogues of Agent J (Will Smith), and the sarcastic looks and comments of Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones).

The plot of Men in Black 3, Back in Time, is quite intricate as it is likely that you may be lost along the way, but don’t worry you’ll figure it out. The time travel device is new to this sequel, but it makes the movie even more adventurous.

The story is, 40 years back, Agent K apprehended the criminal, Boris the animal (Jemaine Clement), and imprisoned him in the Lunar Max facility. In the present, he escapes the prison on the Moon and arrives on Earth intending to take revenge on Agent K and invade Earth through the time jump device.

So one day when Agent J finds out that K is not in his room, he searches around only to find out that K was killed some 40 years ago; now to solve the mystery murder of K, Agent J takes the lead and with the time-jump device, he goes back in time and reaches the place a day before the death of Agent K. Through the course of events, J also gets the chance to team up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save ‘his life’ and the world; together, they search clues and follow the trail of Boris which leads them to the alien name Griffin (Michael Stuhlbarg). Well, this time-transit and a young K are very interesting to watch.

The performances of the actors are great and the movie has plenty of action and aliens. However, there are some aliens that are creepy as well as horrifying. MIB3 manages to deliver the same sci-fi action entertainment that you’ll be expecting from the previous instalments, however, the time-jump device is a new addition. MIB3 is a fun vacation treat.— Aamir Raz Soomro
