FAISALABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that Punjab government is responsible for worst ever energy crisis in the province as it could not take any worth-mentioning step to eliminate the menace of power outage.

Addressing a public meeting at Chowk Clock Tower on Wednesday evening, PTI Chief said that after 18th Amendments, all the provinces were empowered but the Punjab government failed to pay proper heed to this burning issue in order to overcome energy crisis.

He said that Punjab government has not paid bills of billions of rupees. He also questioned the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif that how many rupees of power companies are outstanding against his textile mill.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Javaid Hashmi and other PTI leaders were also present on the occasion.
