KARACHI: Two young men were shot dead while bodies of four other persons including a newborn baby were found in different areas of Karachi late last night and in the early hours of Sunday, Chhipa sources said.

According to the sources, 25-year-old Abdul Ghani, son of Allah Rakha was gunned down by unknown armed persons outside his home in Memon Society, Lyari. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

In a separate firing incident an unidentified man, in his mid-twenties, died in Saudabad, Malir. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center.

Meanwhile, two bodies were found in the Manghopir area. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.  The identity of the deceased, both seemingly in their mid-thirties, could not be ascertained.

Moreover, a two-day old body of an unidentified man, aged around 35, was found in Dhobi Ghat, Lyari. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for postmortem.

Another body of a newborn baby was found in a dustbin in Metro Ville area. It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
