PESHAWAR, June 13: The South and North Waziristan agencies got new administrative heads as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government ordered on Wednesday postings and transfers of senior officers, according to an official press release.

Mohammad Javed Marwat, the political agent of South Waziristan Agency, was transferred and posted as district coordination officer (DCO) of Peshawar in place of Siraj Khan, who was transferred and posted as political agent (PA) of North Waziristan Agency.

Shahidullah, the district coordination officer (DCO) of Kohat, was transferred and posted as PA of South Waziristan Agency, whereas Islam Zeb, PA of Bajour Agency, who was under transfer to North Waziristan Agency, was asked to report to the establishment department.

Similarly, Mohammad Ali Shah, the additional inspector general (Prisons), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was posted as DCO of Dir Upper. Riaz Khan Mahsud, who was DCO of Dir Upper, was asked to report to Fata Secretariat, Peshawar.

In addition to that, Zakir Hussain Afridi, the incumbent additional commissioner of Kohat division, was delegated the additional charge of the post of Kohat DCO till further orders.

Similarly, the provincial government posted Nasir Durrani, section officer of finance department, as deputy secretary of Chief Minister Secretariat against the vacant post and Gul Zarin, section officer at Chief Minister Secretariat, was transferred and posted as section officer at finance department.
