ISLAMABAD: Fifteen-year-old Faisal Mir has been selected to represent Pakistan in the World Junior Golf Open 2012 scheduled to be held at Fairhaven Golf Club in Lancashire, England from July 15 to 18.

Mir hails from Gujranwala Golf Club and is a six handicapper, according to a press release.

Previously, Mir had also won the Pakistan Junior Golf Open at Defense Raya Golf and Country Club, Lahore by a comfortable margin of 10 shots.

Mir led in the three-day tournament from the very first day and shot (234) 18 over par gross in 54 holes.
