KOHAT, May 8: The police on Tuesday foiled an attempt of smuggling fake currency from tribal area to down country and arrested the carrier on Indus Highway.The police at the tunnel plaza checkpost signaled a Toyota Hiace to stop for checking and upon search recovered fake currency worth over R400,000 from one Faheem, resident of Chakawal district of Punjab.
Meanwhile, in an action, the police arrested four most wanted criminals from Lachi. They were identified as Sakhi Badshah, Pia Gul, Gul Hassan and Aman. —Correspondent
