LAHORE, March 23: Ajoka Theatre launched the documentary titled “Becoming Bhagat Singh” by Nirvaan Nadeem at the Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture to commemorate the Bhagat Singh day (March 23).

Indian film director Mahesh Bhatt, who was guest of honour on the occasion, said Singh believed in the dignity of man and a never ending revolution. He should not only be remembered on March 23, but every day because of his revolutionary thoughts.

He held the documentary in high esteem for having a lot of information about Singh’s life.

Human Rights Commission of Pakistan Secretary-General IA Rehman said Singh was a thorough gentleman and the purpose of his struggle was to free the subcontinent from the British rule. He said more research should be done on Singh and it should be published.

On this occasion, Ajoka presented a few performances related to Bhagat Singh’s life.
