Addressing a conference, he said that those creating hurdles in the enforcement of Sharia were criminals.

Pakistan, he said, can not be freed from what he called the slavery of foreign powers because of incompetent rulers.

He said that the slogan of roti, kapra and makan had given nothing to the masses. He said the Awami National Party had snatched pen and book from children and given them guns.

The JUI-F leader said he wanted early elections but these should be fair, free and transparent and held under an independent election commission.—Online
