ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan on Sunday said that the energy shortfall in the country will be eliminated within the next five years, DawnNews reported.

Addressing an energy conference in Islamabad, Khan said that the energy crisis is a very crucial issue due to which various industries are suffering. He said that this crisis is leading Pakistan towards bankruptcy.

The PTI chief also said that if his party came into power, they would make several changes in the governance of the country, which help eliminate the energy crisis. He warned that if measures were not taken soon, the country's energy shortfall could get double in the next five years.
